ALLERGY POLICY
Registered Home Kitchen
CHOKKO operates from a registered home kitchen in metropolitan Melbourne in accordance with applicable local council food safety requirements.
Our kitchen is NOT an allergen-free facility. Ingredients we use may contain but not limited to; traces of nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten (wheat) and other allergens. During operations, we use shared equipment, therefore cannot guarantee that our cake tubs are free of allergens. We STRONGLY advise exercising caution when placing an order with us if you have any allergies.
Allergen Environment & Cross-Contact Risk
Our products are prepared in a kitchen where common allergens are handled and stored. These allergens include, but are not limited to:
- Gluten (wheat)
- Dairy
- Eggs
- Soy
- Peanuts
- Tree nuts
- Sesame
Other allergens that may be introduced through seasonal ingredients or supplier products. While reasonable care and food handling practices are implemented to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, CHOKKO cannot and does not guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens. Cross-contact may occur during preparation, baking, storage, or packaging.
No Allergen-Free Guarantee
CHOKKO makes no representation or warranty that any product is suitable for individuals with food allergies, intolerances, or coeliac disease.
All products should be considered as potentially containing traces of allergens.
Severe Allergies & Anaphylaxis
If you have a severe allergy or are at risk of anaphylaxis, we strongly advise that you do not purchase or consume CHOKKO products.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risk associated with consuming products prepared in a shared kitchen environment.
CHOKKO accepts no liability for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or adverse outcome resulting from the consumption of our products.
Customer Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the customer to:
- Review all product descriptions and allergen notices (including our Allergen Policy)
- Contact CHOKKO prior to ordering if clarification is required
- Assess whether our products are suitable for their personal dietary needs
