CHOKKO operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). CHOKKO is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read the following carefully before using this website or placing an order.

By accessing www.chokko.com.au or purchasing from CHOKKO, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

The content of this website is provided for general information and online purchasing purposes only. We reserve the right to amend, update or remove content at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

ORDERS

All CHOKKO products are sold on a pre-order basis and released in limited quantities. Orders operate on a first in, first served basis.

An order is not confirmed until:

  • Full payment has been successfully processed; and You receive an order confirmation email

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

PRICING

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

We reserve the right to:

  • Change prices at any time without notice
  • Modify product offerings
  • Withdraw products from sale

Delivery fees apply where selected and are calculated at checkout.

Promotional pricing is valid only during the specified promotional period.

PAYMENT

Full payment is required at checkout using the payment methods available on the website.

Orders will not be prepared, secured or scheduled without completed payment.

PICK-UP & DELIVERY

CHOKKO offers:

  • Pick-up from a Melbourne suburb (details provided after purchase)
  • Delivery within Metropolitan Melbourne only (delivery fee applies)

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery details.

CHOKKO is not responsible for:

  • Failed deliveries due to incorrect details
  • Recipient unavailability
  • Delays outside our reasonable control

Once products have been collected or delivered, responsibility transfers to you.

NO-SHOW / UNCOLLECTED ORDERS

CHOKKO operates on a pre-order basis with limited quantities. All orders must be collected or received on the scheduled date.

Orders not collected or accepted at delivery without prior notice will be considered a no-show.

In the event of a no-show:

  • Orders will not be refunded
  • CHOKKO reserves the right to dispose of the uncollected product

Any attempt to request a replacement or reschedule will be at CHOKKO’s discretion and may incur additional fees.

We strongly encourage customers to ensure their availability for collection or delivery. Responsibility for uncollected or missed orders rests with the customer.

PRODUCT HANDLING & STORAGE

All CHOKKO products are perishable and must be stored and handled appropriately.

Once a product is collected or delivered to the nominated address, CHOKKO is not responsible for:

  • Improper storage
  • Exposure to heat or environmental conditions
  • Transport after collection
  • Deterioration in quality once in your possession

Storage instructions should be followed carefully to maintain product quality.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Due to the custom and perishable nature of our products:

  • All sales are final
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled pick-up or delivery date are non-refundable
  • Date changes are not permitted
  • Refunds or credits are offered strictly at CHOKKO’s discretion, taking into account the circumstances and business impact

If a refund is approved, it will be processed via the original payment method.

ALLERGEN & FOOD SAFETY NOTICE

CHOKKO operates from a registered home kitchen with local council approval and registration. 

Our kitchen handles allergens including, but not limited to:

  • Gluten
  • Dairy
  • Eggs
  • Nuts
  • Soy
  • Sesame

We DO NOT guarantee allergen-free products.

Customers with severe allergies or risk of anaphylaxis are advised to exercise caution and contact us prior to ordering.

By purchasing from CHOKKO, you acknowledge and accept this risk. CHOKKO takes no liability for any adverse reactions if customers with severe allergies or risk of anaphylaxis choose to purchase or consume our products.

PRODUCT VARIATIONS

All CHOKKO products are handmade.

You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Final products may vary slightly from website images
  • Colours and decorative elements may vary
  • Ingredients or design elements may change depending on seasonal or supplier availability

We reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions without prior notice while maintaining overall quality and value.

Our Services, including but not limited to all trademarks, brands, logos, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by CHOKKO, its affiliates or licensors.
